Alphavex Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Alphavex collects, uses, stores, and shares
information when you use the Alphavex mobile app, watch app, widgets, AI
features, workout sharing links, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
In this Policy, “Alphavex,” “we,” “us,” and “our” means the provider of the app
identified in the applicable app store listing or on alphavex.app
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
A. Account and Identity Information
• phone number used for login or verification;
• authentication identifiers and session information;
• name or display name you provide; and
• account metadata associated with sign-in methods you use.
B. Profile, Fitness, Nutrition, and Health-Related Information
• age, gender, height, weight, and profile details;
• training experience, equipment access, goals, blockers, habits, and daily
rules;
• saved workouts, workout logs, sets, reps, duration, and exercise history;
• cardio and activity data, including metrics from Apple Health or Apple
Watch when you permit access;
• nutrition goals, calorie and macro targets, and food logs;
• blood report details, blood marker values, and lab report information you
add or sync; and
• AI prompts and responses that include your fitness, nutrition, or health
context.
C. Device, Usage, and Diagnostic Information
• app version, build number, device and operating system information;
• feature usage, interaction events, and diagnostics;
• notification preferences and notification interaction data; and
• analytics information collected through tools such as Microsoft Clarity
D. Permission-Based Data
Depending on the permissions you grant, we may access:
• Apple Health and HealthKit data, including workout, heart rate, HRV,
sleep, oxygen saturation, temperature, activity, distance, workout routes,
and related metrics;
• approximate or precise location information associated with cardio and
route features;
• photos and photo library items you choose to upload or save;
• camera access for workout photos or sharing flows; and
• files you choose to import, such as PDF lab reports.
E. Content You Choose to Share
• profile photos;
• workout share links and the workout data attached to those links; and
• content you choose to export or share to third-party platforms such as
Instagram or X.
2. How We Collect Information
We collect information:
• directly from you when you enter data, create workouts, send AI prompts,
upload files, or configure your profile;
• from your device and app usage;
• from Apple Health, Apple Watch, and related Apple frameworks when
you authorize access;
• fromservice providers that support authentication, hosting, analytics, and
AI features; and
• fromshare links or imported content when you use collaboration or import
features.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
• provide and operate the Service;
• authenticate users and secure accounts;
• sync data across devices and restore your account data;
• generate workouts, recommendations, summaries, and AI responses;
• parse lab report text and organize extracted markers;
• display health, activity, and workout insights;
• enable workout sharing, importing, watch connectivity, widgets, and no
tifications;
• troubleshoot bugs, monitor performance, and improve the Service;
• enforce our terms, protect users, and prevent misuse; and
• comply with legal obligations.
4. AI Features
If you use AI features, your prompts and relevant contextual data may be pro
cessed by:
• Apple Intelligence or related Apple model services when available on your
device; or
• OpenAI-powered services used by Alphavex.
Blood report parsing may involve sending extracted PDF text to an AI service
for marker extraction. Do not submit information you are not comfortable
sharing for that purpose.
AI outputs may be inaccurate and should be independently reviewed before you
rely on them, especially for health decisions.
5. How We Share Information
We may share information:
• with service providers that host or support the Service, such as Supabase
for backend infrastructure and authentication;
• with AI and model providers that power AI chat, summaries, and parsing
features;
• withanalytics providers such as Microsoft Clarity to understand app usage
and improve product quality;
• with telecommunications or authentication providers to send one-time
passcodes or verify sign-ins;
• with Apple and device-level services needed to support HealthKit, watch
connectivity, widgets, notifications, or app distribution;
• with social or sharing platforms when you choose to share content outside
the app;
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization,
bankruptcy, or sale of assets; and
• when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the
Service.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use HealthKit
data for advertising, marketing profiling, or data broker purposes.
6. HealthKit and Sensitive Information
Health and wellness data is sensitive. We use HealthKit and similar data only
to provide fitness and wellness functionality inside Alphavex.
If you upload blood reports, enter marker values, or include sensitive information
in AI prompts, that information may be stored locally on your device and,
depending on the feature, synced to our backend or processed by an AI provider
on our behalf.
7. Data Storage and Retention
We may store information:
• locally on your device, including through app storage such as UserDefaults,
SwiftData, caches, and temporary files; and
• oncloudinfrastructure used to support accounts, shared workouts, profiles,
nutrition data, and blood reports.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Ser
vice, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and
maintain backups. Retention periods may vary by data type and feature.
8. Your Choices
You can generally:
• choose whether to grant HealthKit, location, notification, camera, and
photo permissions through your device settings;
• edit or remove certain information directly in the app;
• stop using AI features if you do not want prompts processed for those
features;
• avoid creating workout share links if you do not want workout data avail
able through shared URLs; and
• request deletion of your data or account through the support method
identified in the app store listing or on alphavexfitness.com, subject to
legal and operational retention requirements.
If you revoke permissions, some features may stop functioning.
9. International Data Transfers
Because we use third-party infrastructure and service providers, your informa
tion may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. By using
the Service, you acknowledge that such transfers may occur, subject to applica
ble law.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for children without appropriate parental or
guardian involvement where required by law. If you believe a child provided
personal information in violation of applicable law, contact us through the
support method identified in the app store listing or on alphavexfitness.com.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures de
signed to protect information. No method of storage, transmission, or processing
is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material
changes, we may provide notice through the Service, on the website, or in the
app store listing. The “Effective Date” above shows when this Policy was last
updated.
